New Folder activity

An activity that creates a folder within a SharePoint document library.

Configure the New Folder activity

To configure the New Folder activity, do the procedure in this topic.

In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

Click New Folder Configuration .
Configure New Folder Configuration screen.

(Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

Field Name	Definition
Display Name	Function: Specifies the activity name that shows in your process. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Description	Function: Specifies an optional description for your activity. Accepted Values: More than one line of text. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No

Specifies the name and location for your new SharePoint folder.

SharePoint	Function: Specifies the access token that connects to your SharePoint site. Accepted Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Add Token	Opens this Screen: New SharePoint Access Token Function of this Screen: Configures a new access token for SharePoint.
Site	Function: Specifies the URL for your SharePoint site. Accepted Values: A valid SharePoint site URL A process data variable Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes Example: http://[machine name]:[port]/sites/[site name] You must include the /sites in the Site URL for the site to be created successfully.
Library	Function: Specifies the name of the SharePoint library. Accepted Values: A valid SharePoint library name. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Folder Name	Function: Specifies the name of your SharePoint folder. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
