Update Folder (OneDrive) activity

An activity that changes the name of a OneDrive folder in OneDrive.



Configure the Update Folder activity

To configure the Update Folder activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the OneDrive tab.
      2. On the OneDrive tab, drag the Update Folder activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Configure General Options for a System Activity.

  2. Click Update Folder .
  3. Complete the fields on the Update Folder in OneDrive Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Change a Folder Name in OneDrive.

  4. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

    For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

Specifies the activity name that shows in your process.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.

Function:
Specifies an optional description for your activity.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.

No

Update Folder in OneDrive Configuration

Specifies the details to change a folder name.

Specifies the access token that connects to your OneDrive application.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:

Accepts Process Data Variables:

Add Token

Opens this Screen:
New OneDrive Access Token
Function of this Screen:
Configures a new access token for Microsoft OneDrive.

Folder Path
Function:
Specifies the path of the folder.
Accepted Values:
  • Choose Folder Path - Specifies an absolute path for the folder.
  • Dynamic Folder Path - Specifies a process variable that stores the path of folder.
Default Value:
Choose Folder Path
Example:
  • c:\My Documents\sample1.doc
  • ${HomeDirectory}\sample2.doc
  • http://demo3:8000/DocumentLib1/sample3.doc

Folder Name
Function:
Specifies the new name of a folder.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Store the Response in Custom Attribute or Schema
Function:
Specifies the process data variable that stores the ID of the changed folder.

OneDrive supplies the folder ID.

Accepted Values:
A process data variable.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes
