Delete File (OneDrive) activity

An activity that deletes a file in OneDrive.

Configure the Delete File activity

To configure the Delete File activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

You must specify the file or file ID to delete a file.
In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

How to Start

On the Organizer, do one of these:
- Open a process.
- Create a process.
Do one of these:
- Add an activity:
  1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the OneDrive tab.
  2. On the OneDrive tab, drag the Delete File activity onto your process.
- Change an activity:
  1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

Click DeleteFile .
Configure the Delete File activity options on the Delete File in OneDrive Configuration screen.
For more information, refer to Delete File from OneDrive.
(Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .
For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Display Name	Function: Specifies the activity name that shows in your process. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Description	Function: Specifies an optional description for your activity. Accepted Values: More than one line of text. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No

Delete File in OneDrive Configuration

Specifies the OneDrive file to delete.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
OneDrive	Function: Specifies the access token that connects to your OneDrive application. Accepted Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Add Token	Opens this Screen: New OneDrive Access Token Function of this Screen: Configures a new access token for Microsoft OneDrive.
File Path	Function: Specifies the path of the file. Accepted Values: Choose File Path - Specifies an absolute path for the file. Dynamic File ID - Specifies a process variable that stores the ID of file. Default Value: Choose File Path
