New Library activity

An activity that creates a SharePoint library within a SharePoint site.



Configure the New Library activity

To configure the New Library activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, go to the Activity Library, and open the SharePoint tab.
      2. On the SharePoint tab, drag the New Library activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

  2. Click New Library Configuration .
  3. Configure New Library Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Create a SharePoint Library.

  4. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

    For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.



Fields

Specifies the activity name that shows in your process.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.

Description
Function:
Specifies an optional description for your activity.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:

No

New Library Configuration

Configures your new SharePoint library.

SharePoint
Function:
Specifies the access token that connects to your SharePoint site.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Add Token

Opens this Screen:
New SharePoint Access Token
Function of this Screen:
Configures a new access token for SharePoint.

Site
Function:
Specifies the URL for your SharePoint site.
Accepted Values:
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes
Example:

  • http://[machine name]:[port]/sites/[site name]

    You must include the /sites in the Site URL for the site to be created successfully.

List Template
Function:
Specifies the name of the SharePoint list template to be used to create the new document library.
Accepted Values:
The name of the SharePoint list template.
Default Value:
Document Library
Accepts Process Data Variables:

Following are some SharePoint list templates:

  • Document Library - The SharePoint default.
  • Control Document Library - Included with SharePoint Integration for AgilePoint.

Document Library Name
Function:
Specifies the name for the new document library.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Document Template
Function:
Specifies the SharePoint document template to be associated with the new document library.
Accepted Values:
The name of a SharePoint document template.

The valid values for this property are the same as the values listed in the New Document Library page, such as:

  • Microsoft Office FrontPage Web page
  • Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet
  • Microsoft Office PowerPoint presentation
  • Basic page
  • Web Part Page

The New Document Library page is displayed when you manually create a new document library in SharePoint.

Default Value:
Microsoft Office Word document - A new document library is created for Microsoft Word documents.
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No
