Create User activity

An activity that creates a user in your Yammer network.



Configure the Create User activity

To configure the Create User activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library open the Yammer tab.
      2. On the Yammer tab, drag the Create User activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Configure General Options for a System Activity.

  2. Click Create User .
  3. Configure User Information screen.

    For more information, refer to Create User Information in Yammer.

  4. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

    For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.



Fields

Display Name
Function:
Specifies the activity name that shows in your process.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Description
Function:
Specifies an optional description for your activity.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

User Information

Specifies the user information for the user you want to create..

Yammer
Function:
Specifies the access token that connects to Yammer.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Add Token

Opens this Screen:
New Yammer Access Token
Function of this Screen:
Configures a new access token for Yammer.

Network Name
Function:
Specifies the name of your Yammer network.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

When you select the Yammer access token, the associated network name shows in the Network name field.

Default Value:
None

First Name
Function:
The user's first name.
Accepted Values:
One line of text.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Last Name
Function:
The user's last name.
Accepted Values:
One line of text.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

E-mail
Function:
Specifies the e-mail address of the user.
Accepted Values:
A valid e-mail address.
Default Value:
None

Job Title
Function:
Specifies the job title of the user.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:

Department
Function:
Specifies the user's department.
Accepted Values:

Location
Function:
Specifies the location of the user.
Accepted Values:

Other Tabs
Function:
Other tabs on this screen give more information about the user, such as information about their family, and contact information. You can complete these fields with text or variables.
