How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Salesforce tab.
      2. On the Salesforce tab, drag the Create Folder activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Create Folder .

Procedure

  1. On the Create Folder Configuration screen, in the Salesforce field, select your Salesforce access token.

    To create a new access token, click Add Token . For more information, refer to New Salesforce Access Token.

  2. In the Folder Name field, enter a name for your folder.
  3. Complete this field as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Folder Unique Name

    Function:
    Specifies the unique name of a folder.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid unique name of a folder.

    The name must start with a letter. You can use text with a letter, number, and underscore (_). The name cannot end with an underscore or have two underscores one after the other.

    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    Public Folder Access

    Function:
    Specifies the folder access rights.
    Accepted Values:
    • ReadOnly - The Salesforce user can see the folder but cannot change the folder contents.
    • Read/Write - The Salesforce user can change the folder contents.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes
  4. (Optional) To store the folder ID as a process data variable, add the variable from the Process Variables screen to the field Store the Response Folder ID in Custom Attribute or Schema.
