New SAP Access Token

Configures a new access token for SAP.



How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the SAP Integration tab.
      2. On the SAP Integration tab, drag the Call SAP Function activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Next.
  4. On the configuration screen, click Add Token .

Field Name Definition

Access Token Name

Function:
Specifies the unique name for your connection to SAP.
Accepted Values:
A text string that can include letters, numbers, and spaces
Default Value:
None

Description

Function:
A description for your access token.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:
None

Connector

Function:
Specifies the type of connector to connect to the SAP database.
Accepted Values:
  • Local Connector - Lets you connect to the SAP database with the installed iNet connection hub.
  • Remote Connector - Lets you connect to the SAP database with a remote server.

Server

Function:
Specifies the server address for your SAP database.
Accepted Values:
  • An IP address
  • A server and domain name.
Default Value:
None
Example:
  • 192.168.1.18
  • mysapserver.com

Pool ID

Function:
Specifies the ID of the pool configured in the iNet connection hub.
Accepted Values:
A valid pool ID from the list.
Default Value:
None

Client

Function:
Specifies the SAP client number.
Accepted Values:
A string with letters and numbers.
Default Value:
None

Language

Function:
The language abbreviation for your SAP language.
Accepted Values:
The language you want.
Default Value:
EN

User Name

Function:
The user name to authenticate to SAP.
Accepted Values:
A valid user name.
Default Value:
None

Password

Function:
The password for the authentication account.
Accepted Values:
A valid password.
Default Value:
None

Test Connection

Function:
Makes sure the specified SAP account is correct.

Encrypt

Function:
Holds the access token in the AgilePoint database as encrypted data.
Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - The access token is in plain text in the database.
  • Selected - The access token is encrypted in the database.

Deselected
