How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, go to the Activity Library, and open the SharePoint tab.
      2. On the SharePoint tab, drag the Restore Permission Inheritance activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Restore Permission Inheritance .

Procedure

  1. On the Restore Permission Inheritance screen, in the SharePoint field, select your SharePoint access token.

    To create a new access token, click Add Token . For more information, refer to New SharePoint Access Token.

  2. Complete these fields as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Restore Inheritance permission for

    Function:
    Specifies the subordinate item for which to restore the permission inheritance.
    Accepted Values:
    • Site
    • List/Library
    • List Item
    Default Value:
    Site
    Accepts Process Data Variables:

    Site

    Function:
    Specifies the URL for your SharePoint site.
    Accepted Values:
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes
    Example:
    • http://[machine name]:[port]/sites/[site name]

      You must include the /sites in the Site URL for the site to be created successfully.

    List/Library

    Function:
    Specifies the name of the SharePoint library or list.
    To Open this Field:
    1. Select List/Library or List Item.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid SharePoint library name or list name.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    List Item ID

    Function:
    Specifies the ID of a SharePoint list item.
    To Open this Field:
    1. Select List Item.
    Accepted Values:
    The ID of your SharePoint list item.
    Default Value:
    None
