Create a Folder in Dropbox

Create Folder Configuration Screen

Prerequisites

• Create an access token for your Dropbox application.

Good to Know

• You must specify the parent folder or parent folder ID to create a folder.
• In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

How to Start

1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
   • Open a process.
   • Create a process.
2. Do one of these:
   • Add an activity:
     1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Dropbox tab.
     2. On the Dropbox tab, drag the Create Folder activity onto your process.
   • Change an activity:
     1. In your process, double-click your activity.
3. Click Create Folder .

Procedure

1. On the Create Folder Configuration screen, in the Dropbox field, select your Dropbox access token.

   To create a new access token, click New Dropbox Access Token.

2. In the Folder Name field, enter a name for your folder.
3. Complete this field as necessary.

   Field Name	Definition
   Parent Folder Path	Function: Specifies the parent folder. The activity uses the path of the specified parent folder to create a subfolder when the process runs Accepted Values: Choose Folder Path - Specifies an absolute path for the folder. Dynamic Folder Path - Specifies a process variable that stores the path of folder. Default Value: Choose Folder Path Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes

4. (Optional) To connect the response to a process data variable, complete this field as necessary.

   Field Name	Definition
   Store the Response in Custom Attribute or Schema	Function: Specifies the process data variable that stores the new folder path. Accepted Values: A process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
