AgilePoint ID Registration screen

Lets you create your AgilePoint ID and complete the sign-up for AgilePoint NX.



Prerequisites

Good to Know

  • If you register with an external authentication provider, some fields show the information from your external account.
  • All users get an AgilePoint ID. However, you may or may not use this ID to sign in to AgilePoint NX. This depends upon whether your organization uses AgilePoint authentication, or a third-party authentication provider, such as Salesforce or Microsoft. For more information, ask your system administrator.

How to Start

  1. On the AgilePoint NX Trial Tenant Invitation e-mail, click AgilePoint NX Trial Acceptance.
  2. On the Register With screen, click your authentication provider.
  3. On the Allow Permission screen, click Allow or Accept.

Fields

Field Name Definition

User Name
Function:
Specifies your user name in AgilePoint NX.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None if you register with AgilePoint ID.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account.

Password
Function:
Specifies a password for your AgilePoint NX account.
To Open this Field:
On the Register With screen, click AgilePoint ID.
Accepted Values:
One line of text with no spaces.

You can include special characters and numbers to increase the strength of your password.

Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field does not show and your password is the same as your external account.

First Name
Function:
Specifies your first name.
Accepted Values:
One line of text with no spaces.
Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

Last Name
Function:
Specifies your last name.
Accepted Values:
One line of text with no spaces.
Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

Job Title
Function:
Specifies the your job title.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

Company Name
Function:
Specifies the name of your company.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

E-mail
Function:
Specifies your e-mail address.
Accepted Values:
One line of text with no spaces.
Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

Phone
Function:
Specifies the phone number of the user.
Accepted Values:
A number string.
Default Value:
None.

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

Region
Function:
Specifies the geographic region of the user.
Accepted Values:
A geographic region from the list.
Default Value:
US East (Virginia).

If you register with an external authentication provider, this field shows the information from your external account..

Register
Function:
Completes your sign up and registration for AgilePoint NX.
